Q: What kind of game is Heroes Evolved Arabic?
A: Heroes Evolved Arabic is a free-to-play arena combat game. Compete online in glorious 5v5 matches - and work together to crush the enemy! Fight alongside your teammates as you anticipate the enemy, equip yourself with legendary weapons and gear, and use superior strategy to overcome all odds! In Heroes Evolved Arabic, only the strong survive.

Q: Why the characters are displayed as the white figures with only eyes when the game starts?
A: The client still needs some time downloading the character data. It will be automatically fixed after a while.

Q: How do I change my avatar?
A: Click on your avatar and enter the Player Info Screen. Change your avatar to any of the available avatars! Unfortunately, we are unable to support customized avatars at this time.

Q: How to activate full-screen mode in the game?
A: Click the 'Full-screen' icon at the top right corner.

Q: How to move the cursor out of the game window?
A: Press Z button.

Q: The hotkeys for skills don't work. What can I do?
A: There might be keyboard shortcut conflicts. Please press Ctrl + Space to disable the input method.

Q: What are the hotkeys in the game?
A: Check them out at GAME INFO - New Player Guide - Operation Guide.

Q: What are the minimum configuration requirements for running this game?
A: Please check the download page.

Q: What is the level cap of Hero Evolved?
A: Level 30.

Q: How to adjust the in-game sounds?
A: Click 'Settings' at the upper left corner, and then select 'Sound' tab to enable/disable in-game sounds or adjust the volume.

Q: Are there other ways of getting Jewels except for buying them from shops?
A: You may collect a few Jewels from the daily quests and login event.

Q: How does the game's matchmaking work? How are points calculated after a match? Will players'stats have an influence on the points?
A: The game offers single-player and multiplayer modes for matchmaking. Pick a mode and then click 'Find Match' to queue for matchmaking. The system will match players with similar Rating together to have a game.
When the match ends,Ratingpoints gained/lost are determined by the two parties' pre-match Rating and the result of this match. The player with a higher Rating will gain fewer points for a win and lose more points for a loss, since higher Rating is expected to win, while those with a lower Rating will gain more points for a win and lose fewer points for a loss.

Q: Is it possible that a team of 5 members gets matched with a single player?
A: Yes, it happens when no suitable team is found. The single player picked for the match must have a higher Rating than that of the members in the team.

Q: It seems the higher my Rating, the longer I wait in the queue for matchmaking. How can I fix it?
A: This problem may occur when there are not enough players. We will keep attracting more players to increase the player base. For now, we suggest players with higher Rating and those with lower Rating to run matchmaking together to shorten the wait time.

Q: Does the game have any penalties for abandons?
A: Yes, three abandons will result in your account being banned for one day.

Q: I got an abandon after I was away from the match more than 5 minutes. How do you determine whether I deserve an abandon?
A: Being away from keyboard over 5 minutes will be counted as an abandon.

Q: When does the game update free Heroes?
A: Friday.

Q: How are the rankings in the game determined?
A: MVP is determined by the overall data.

Q: How to determine the amount of Gold earned per match?
A: It depends on the length of the match

Q: How much Gold can I earn for killing an enemy hero or an assist?
A: The amount of Gold rewarded varies according to the opponent's kills.

Q: What's the highest merge level for Jewels?
A: Level 5.

Q: How often does the game release new heroes?
A: The Wall of Heroes may be updated from time to time. For new heroes to be released, announcements will be made one week earlier in the game. Please stay tuned to our news.

Q: Suppose the Guild system is available. Will the Guild get disbanded when its Creator quit the Guild?
A: The Guild will be remained if the leadership is transferred to another player, while if the guild leader disbands the guild, it will be disbanded.

Q: What are Medals used for?
A: Deeds show your proficiency in controlling a hero.

Q: How are Medals calculated?
A: Each hero has different criteria about Deeds that you can find more details on the hero's interface.

Q: How long is the cooldown for Life Steal and Crit?
A: Life Steal has no upper limit, and Crit has no cooldown.

Q: How do I save recordings of my games? Where are they saved?
A: You can save recordings of your match at the results screen of the match. All recordings are saved in your computer at D:\Documents\HeroesEvolved\Replays.

Problems about configuration and others

Q: How do I report a bug?
A: Please describe what you did when the bug occurred. Compress the 'log' folder and then send it to our GM. The 'log' is saved in different locationson different operation systems.

*'Administrator' is the account that you use to log into your computer.

Q: I got a black screen after logging into the game. How can I fix it?
A: In many cases, black screen is caused by slow internet connection, and will be fixed when game resources are downloaded. If you still have the black screen, there might be a problem with your display.

Q: I got stuck on the login page. What should I do?
A: This problem can often be solved by changing your computer's DNS settings as below:

  1. Click the Control Panel, and select Network and Internet
  2. Open the Network Connections
  3. Right click on the Local Area Connection, and then select Properties
  4. Double click Internet Protocol (TCP/IPV4) to open a dialog window
  5. DNS Server Address: Select Use the following DNS server addresses, and replace the address with 8.8.8.8

Q: The game is so lag. What should I do?
A: The lag might be caused by computer configuration or network.
Your Graphics Card must be at least Radeon HD 2400 Pro or NvidiaGeforce 7300GT to run the game smoothly. If not, you will often have less than 30 FPS.
If your Graphics Card meets the requirement, there might be a problem with internet connection which often results in 200+Ping.
If you still have lag in the game after ruling out the above-mentioned causes, the line of yourinternet server might be at the peak, please try again in idle hours.

Q: I was stuck at 99% after entering a room. What should I do?
A: The problem is often caused by network. If nothing changes after a long wait, please close the window and login again.

Q: Can Heroes Evolved Arabic be played on Mac or Linux?
A: Unfortunately, the game is only available in Windows right now.
